Read Across America
In honor of Dr. Seuss's birthday on March 2nd, 2GG will be celebrating Read Across America Day by inviting guest readers into our classroom. A few parents have already volunteered to bring in one of their favorite stories to read. Please contact us if you would like the opportunity to read to our class!

We hope you all had a wonderful summer vacation and are as excited to start the school year as we are! We look forward to a wonderful year and a positive learning experience for your child. Below is a copy of our supply list for second grade. Please try and bring as many of the required supplies with you on the first day of school on September 6th. Remember to label all personal belongings such as backpacks, lunch boxes and/ or pencil boxes.
We will be sending home our special schedule and some other important information with your child on the first day of school. Second grade is dismissed from the kindergarten annex doors at 3:00pm. If your child must be dismissed from a different exit or by a different individual for the day, please send a note stating the change.
We are looking forward to seeing you all soon! Please feel free to contact us via email with any questions or concerns about 2nd grade. We ask that you please send all email correspondence to both of our emails: firstname.lastname@example.org & email@example.com .
